Circuit Zandvoort - Dutch Grand Prix

Circuit Zandvoort, formerly known as Circuit Park Zandvoort, is host for the Dutch Grand Prix. The circuit is located north of Zandvoort, in the province of North Holland, Netherlands. It is famous for its unique location, only a stone's throw away from the beach and it is a delight to visit for every race fan. The area is also very popular among tourists with no less than five million one-day visitors per year.

At a length of 4.3 kilometers, it ranks among the shorter circuits on the F1 calendar. The driving direction is clockwise with a total of 14 corners. The elevation difference is 7.92 meters. The track is quite challenging and very popular because of its fast, sweeping corners as well as the hairpin at the end of the start and finish straight. Tarzan corner (Tarzanbocht) is the most famous corner and provides excellent overtaking opportunities.

The track shares many similarities to Hungaroring with a combination of short acceleration zones followed by sweeping corners. This combined with the lack of wide runoff areas means that any mistake stands a higher chance of being punished. Many drivers, like Hamilton, Bottas and Verstappen have a lot of experience on this circuit from their run in Formula 3.
