Red Bull hit the track in South Korea
Red Bull Racing’s Formula One car completed 14 laps of the all-new Korean Grand Prix circuit today, as part of an event called ‘Circuit Run 2010’. Four thousand spectators travelled to the new track for the event, which included an F1 car driving round the circuit for the first time. The event also included demonstration laps by a Formula BMW and some Korean touring cars.

McLaren to push for an Italian victory
After a P1 and a DNF at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit, the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Team travels to another of the historic Formula One venues: the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. Once again, the Woking-based outfit will be pushing for victory next weekend.

Mercedes hopes to repeat double poinst finish at Monza
The Italian Grand Prix, the final European race of the 2010 World Championship, takes place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza on Sunday 12 September. One of the most atmospheric venues on the calendar, the original Monza circuit was built in 1922 and today the 5.793km track is the fastest of the year with four long straights enabling the cars reaching top speeds of up to 340kph.

FIA investigates Massa's Belgian GP grid error
The FIA has launched an investigation why Scuderia Ferrari driver Felipa Massa was able to start last weekend's Belgian Grand Prix slightly ahead of his grid slot. The error was not picked up at the time, but came to light as amateur video footage appeared on the internet.

Rosberg doubting future podiums
Without denying himself future opportunities for podiums, Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg certainly believes that he will struggle to get his W01 past the Renault's and the other top three teams. "It's definitely becoming more and more difficult because (based on) pure pace we're going to struggle to get a podium I think," Rosberd told 'ITV'.

Pirelli back on track at Paul Ricard
F1's tyre supplier for the upcoming year is back to work as it carries out another test session in a Toyota TF109 at France's Paul Ricard Circuit. Nick Heidfeld had the opportunity to run the test circuits high speed configuration, and was greeted by nice 28 degree weather.

Ferrari hard at work in Maranello and Vairano
Work in preparation for the Italian Grand Prix is continuing unabated. Yesterday, Felipe Massa was in Maranello for a series of meetings with his engineers, as well as a session on the simulator. Meanwhile, today at Vairano, Giancarlo Fisichella got one of the rare opportunities this season to drive the F10, even if it was just down a straight.

Austin reveals proposal for US track layout
The track layout of the proposed United States GP at Austin has finally emerged. Local newspaper American Statesman have revealed the track, to be designed by Herman Tilke, will feature 40m of elevation changes and 4 real overtaking possibilities.
