Lotus unveils conventional 2012 car
Lotus have presented their car new car, dubbed E20, destined to compete in the 2012 Formula One championship. New drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean were on stage to take the wraps off of a car that looks remarkably similar to the R31 of last year.

Van de Garde confirmed as Caterham reserve driver
Caterham F1 Team has today confirmed that Dutch driver Giedo van der Garde will be the team's official Reserve Driver in 2012. Giedo will participate in the pre-season tests and will take part in a number of FP1 sessions throughout the season as a core part of the team's driver line-up.

Analysis: Force India unveils new VJM05
At a small launch event in Silverstone, Sahara Force India have today revealed their 2012 Formula One car, named the VJM05. The new car, to be driven by Paul Di Resta and Nico Hulkenberg features a crocodile nose similar to the Caterham CT-01.

Karthikeyan to race alongside de la Rosa at HRT
Spanish outfit HRT F1 announces that Indian driver, Narain Karthikeyan, will complete the team’s line up for the 2012 season alongside Spanish driver Pedro de la Rosa. These two drivers will contest the 2012 FIA Formula One World Championship for the team, which gets underway on March 16th at the Albert Park circuit in Melbourne, Australia.

No launch event for Ferrari's 2012 car due to weather conditions
In an official statement, the Scuderia Ferrari announced that tomorrow's launch ceremony is cancelled. The decision was taken because of the weather conditions and because of the difficulties that would have faced the 300 or so people due to attend from the team partners, the authorities and representatives of the media in their attempts to get to Maranello.

The Scuderia Ferrari will be forced to cancel the planned shakedown of their 2012 F1 car due to snow at the team's Fiorano circuit. The Italian outfit intended to run the car for filming purposes after its official launch on Friday.
